Eclectic Voices is an energetic and exciting choir that thrives on stretching and dynamic musical performances. It tackles challenging yet achievable repertoire, producing high-quality and outgoing performances rooted in genuine engagement and open-mindedness.
Founded in 1991 by a group of singers who wanted to form a chamber choir that would span genres, working with authentic specialists and learning new and old music in a deep way, Eclectic Voices continues to be directed by its inspirational founder, Scott Stroman.
Eclectic Voices sings a wide variety of music, from jazz, gospel and folk to baroque, classical and contemporary. It has performed throughout the UK and Europe and produced several commercial recordings.
The choir has a strong ethic of commitment and dedication, packing each season with up to eight thrilling performances, many with world-class classical, jazz and folk musicians.
