Any Questions?

email: folk@eclecticvoices.org.uk

Eclectic Voices has recently committed itself to the regular commissioning of new choral music and in 2018, the choir launched its New Music Fund.

Our first commission – “Hope, Light” by Helen Beauchamp - was successfully premiered in our Christmas concert featuring Eclectic Voices and Carnyx Brass at St Pancras Church, London on Saturday 15th December 2018.

And the winner is…..

We are delighted to announce the results of the Eclectic Voices Competition to compose a folk carol for choir.

The winner is

Eoin Mulvany with the carol “This Solstice Night”

Eoin wins £400 and the carol will be premiered at the concert Yuletide Folk featuring Eclectic Voices with Chris Wood & the English Acoustic Collective

Saturday 21st December (yes! – on solstice night)

St Paul’s Covent Garden

Highly Commended are

“When Icicles Hang” by Roger Jackson

“Young Woman Mary” by Caroline Radcliffe

Both of these songs will also be performed at Yuletide Folk

Congratulations to the winning and commended composers and thank you to everyone who entered. There was a fantastic response of 43 submissions – each would be a pleasure to sing and it was heartwarming to listen to every one of them.
